Hey, Little Puppy
Hey, little puppy,
I wish I were you.
You play outside when it’s sunny,
And I weep inside, very blue.
Hey, little puppy,
There’s something you don’t see.
And that’s that you’re very lucky,
Much unlike me.
Hey, little puppy,
You don’t have to deal.
I complain about being left behind meanly,
And you complain about your dog food meal.
Hey, little puppy,
You’re very cute.
And even though I’m filled with jealousy,
I’ll put my sorrow on mute.
