Bookworms
i've always been a bookworm
since the start
bhow mysterious before reading,
how wonderful after
i open a book
to press my face,
against the middle
and inhale the
sweet, musty scent
of
stains, torn pages, scribbled words
even though all displease me
books are like humans
with their own story to tell
but once the story has been
read, devoured, scavenged
it is tossed aside
on a table,
under a bed,
in a cabinet
but i store them,
in ABC order
onto a special bookcase
because i,
am a bookworm
