Healing

I don’t think it comes
Parading in
With brass buttons glimmering,
Gold trumpets shimmering,
High-thrusted chins.

The brok
en
ness
Just shrugs,
Slings his sack
On worn, burdened shoulders
The heart slides like a boulder
And he never
Looks
Back.
