Soul.
She’s in the corner of the room
A notebook open on her desk
She’s writing.
People give her funny looks and she wishes she could be invisible.
Her soul screams,
It wants to escape.
It wants the world to know what she’s really like,
Who she really is,
How she really feels.
But it can’t be that way,
No one would understand,
Or worse yet,
No one would care.
No one would care that she needs help,
That she’s constantly crying inside.
No one would care that she wants out
And that she doesn’t want to cry.
