My body is pretending
to be a piece of art.
All of the delicate blue
veins
in my wrists
my shoulders
my chest
my temples
a frighteningly intricate network
it seems to say that
the failure of one
would lead to the failure of all.

what a nice one of saying that, yes i know this will be VERY cheesy, "we're all in this together." it states that we can all be as one, but we must acknowledge that everyone is different. this is definitely one of my favorite poems!!
