A Kiss

Moonlights and spotlights illuminate broken hearts
They capture what is yet to be said
Felt, or even dreamed of
Bittersweet romances prance, and frolic
In the destruction of humanity
Locating a gate – to hell
And once the sun goes down
And the birds quiet their sweet lullabies
And the whistle in the breeze dies down
The only evidence of this atrocious symphony
Is a kiss
