A True Friend
You love hunting, fishing, and all that ‘guy stuff’
You’re not afraid to get dirty
You’re the one always pulling the stupid stunts
You’re the one who’s lazy in school
Yet you know how to be a true friend
You’re the first to ask how I’ve been
You’re the one who will always be there if I need help
You’re such a hard worker
You’ll always slow down in the hall, just to chat
I’ve been lucky to have such a friend
I’ve known you for less than a year
But I’d swear it seems like forever
I’m trying my hardest to be half the friend you’ve been
I know things have been hard for you right now
I’m here to help in every way possible
And
Thank you
