Sometimes loses in card game tournaments, but he always wins to me

Prefers to battle with small pieces of cardboard
My knight in shining armor
Is way sexier than any prince
My knight in shining armor
Makes me cry, but never too much
My knight in shining armor
Is like a cool spring breeze—he refreshes me
My knight in shining armor
May not be yours
But my knight in shining armor
To me, will always shine.

i think it's really sweet that your boyfriend inspired you to write this. the best poems are written from real-life experiences because they sound the most real. this is something that everyone can relate to and that's why i really like like this piece. you're a great writer!
