Looking out into the ocean
I wonder what it feels like to be
truley free,
Free as the heavenly white dove
that swoops passed me
picking up speed and wind
so graceful and in control
I slowly pace myself
towards the blue murky water
Finally, letting go and moving on
being free of the past and knowing
I can do anything I want,
knowing life is mine
and I control it, I can be anything,
I must always rememeber though,
to let go when it's time
and follow my own advice
no matter how much it hurts
no matter how much of my sanity
it will cost,
I will be in control.
