Worry is simply a misuse of the imagination.

I find myself lying on the ground
Staring at the clear blue sky,
And the floating clouds of white and gray.
Birds coo around me,
And something in the trees moves.
The leaves rustle.
The grass beneath me is prickly,
And the earth beneath that is mushy and warm from the recent summer shower.

I’m down here because
The grass was beckoning
And my feet were dragging
And I was just so curious.
How does the ant see the world?
What does the earthworm feel
As it burrows beneath the earth?
What does pure nature
Sound,
Look,
Feel,
Smell like?

Now I know.
It is a symphony of humming bees,

Fluttering birds,

And rustling leaves.
It is a patchwork of assorted flowers,

Incandescent leaves,

And pure, bright colors.
It is a mixture of prickly thorns,

Fuzzy animals,

And soggy mud.
It is a fragrance full of pungent flowers,

Zesty wild herbs,

And fresh, sweet-smelling grass.

This is nature.

Wow!  That's fantastic!  As Itwasamurderbutnotacrime says, it really does incorperate all of the senses.

That was beautiful. I, especially, can appreciate it, since I love nature. You captured the senses perfectly, and the twisting turning style really worked for this. Nice flow and rhythm.  Good job:D
