As a kid we always thought
about what it will be like when we're 16
hanging out with the same
friends we used to have,
driving in cool huver crafts instead of cars,
and never, ever having a boyfriend.
As teenagers, just a few shortyears from 16,
we look back at our thoughts,
and we see just how wrong
we really were.
Now, we are thinking about driving
for the first time
and realize that even without ever
being able to see a real huver craft,
it'll still be a blast.
We know that for the most part we don't really see, hear from, or even hang out with the same people we used to.
Our personalities were altered, and
we had fights that demolished friendships.
For many, we have already had boyfriends,
shared many love filled hugs and kisses.
Some relationships didn't last long,
some for years, and some eneded badly.
BUT, the most important thing I learned about growing up is to
live in today, not the past or future,
and to live life to the fullest
no matter where it takes you,
because after all, we only
live once.
