Let Go
Those three words,
Are said too much,
They’re not enough,
Oh how I have grown to depend on them,
As if I were a plant wilting in the sun,
Those three words,
That are said too much,
That aren’t enough,
Acting as my water,
Nutrients for my life,
The reason I grow,
Those three words have taught me,
That letting go,
Could be,
A boisterous pursuit,
I want you to let go,
Let me fall through the clouds,
Not as a feather.
But as the heavy weight that I am,
Where gravity has an affect on me,
Causing me to
fall
Those three words,
Are said too much,
They’re not enough,
Trade those tedious words,
Spark the dangerous fuse and,
run
Give the world no excuse to hold you back,
Release your self to the clouds to fall,
Unlock yourself to the hills to run,
Set free the shackled up fear,
Beneath your eyes and give way to the ocean,
Wave after
wave
Please forget me.
