My life is simple,
Yet oh so complicated.
I am independent,
But I sitll need my freinds.
I swim in bravery,
But I'm drowning in fear.
Everything goes my way,
Yet I'm in so much pain.

I can dance,
But I can't fall.
I can sing,
But I can't scream.
I can love,
But I can't hate.
I can find loopholes,
But I can't break the rules.
I can be proud of myself,
But I surely cannot show it!

I need to see--
Give me back my vision!
I need to speak--
Give me back my voice!
I need to know--
Give me that knowledge!

Simply because I differ from you,
