Truth Be Told
truth be told,
he meant the world to her;
his brownish eyes sparkled beams of gold
with a touch of silver lining that made her smile.
she adored his voice & how welcoming it sounded
when it whispered, "just stay with me for a while."
she swore to herself that she'd never get in too deep
but somehow she found herself letting him in.
it was his character,
or maybe his soft talk that made her fall head over heels again.
despite her conflicting emotions,
she continued to let her feelings sink in...
she knew it could possibly destroy her but she pushed forward
without hesitation...
conceivably because she trusted him enough
to have the ability to walk the pathway
that led to her heart,
or perhaps,
for once,
she was not scared to get close to someone;
she actually wanted him beside her.
from her past,
none of the others had the opportunity to receive all of her...
she believed that it would be foolish of her to give them the power to
potentially ruin her…
but this time, she was willing to let it all go, && risk all she had.
