An Abstruse Wonderland
Sinking in unconsciousness now,
I never before knew how
I have never thought these things before,
If only I knew what was in store
Wonderful feelings of elation,
Like the garden from beginning of creation
I have crossed every fence,
Now it all makes sense
Swift. Starling. Sudden. Unexpected.
I awake from a world to which I’m so connected
Everything melts away,
As I begin to wander astray
Deep into the cryptic shadows of abyss
I can no longer feel such bliss
Reality has taken its toll
Like Alice, I have fallen down a hole
There is no turning back
No reverting from this stoic black
With every last stumble
I officially crumble
As I’m on my last breath
I am finally imprisoned by death
