Call her you
If you look past her broken eyes to a shadow no one sees, a disguise so you won't recognize who this is and the real girl you will never see.
She turns away from mirrors and hides away her hurt..
This girl has all this hurt,
she bottles it up inside.
As she lies awake like she does many nights, she wonders what it would be like to just fit in for once?
To look like the other girls to know a loving touch.
Maybe if they could open up their eyes and realize the girl they see isn't really true,
That the girl they know is me, but they call her you.
