When I turned around
I saw your eyes
They told a story
Hidden by a disguise
When I called you on the phone
I heard your voice
Your words
So calm spoke softly to me
I could see the disguise unraveling
around me
When I lay next to you
I feel your heat on top of me
Suffocating me
With emotions of passion and love
When I hold you close to me
I can hear your heart beat
An angel unmasked lay in my arms
The disguise fallen beneath your feet
Your gentle soul captures my eyes
For I finally see you behind the disguise

This piece is about my boyfriend, whom I love dearly. When I met him I knew he was unique, although he turned out to be so much more than what I could have ever asked for. I thank God for him everyday and for everyday to come.

Thank you! I don't really ever have rough draft poems I usually sit down at the computer and type away. But yes my passion and love I feel for my boyfriend is expressed alot throughout my writing and even then it's difficult to explain such feelings. But I'll take a look when I get the chance. Thanks again.

I like this poem, for it being a simple example of the passion of love. Passion was also noticeable in your writing too, which made the poem enjoyable. I wonder, could you look at some of my work? Sorry for the interruption in my praise. Well done.
