Dancing
I grab your hand
and smile.
We run out the door
and into the falling rain,
laughing.
I pull myself into you,
and we start to dance.
The drops make the perfect beat,
and we are right on track.
You spin me around
and in circles I go.
Your brown hair sticks to your forehead,
only making you cuter.
You press lightly,
your lips against mine,
and we sit there.
With the rain paddling
on the ground around us.
I lean into your chest and
we're off again to dancing.
The moments won't last forever,
but the memories?
A lifetime.
