Other Side of the Bed
Waking up to the empty spot
On the other side of the bed.
Thinking it was all a dream,
Until I turned over once again.
Seeing that you wasn’t there,
On the other side.
Wishing to cuddle with you
But it’s only a empty space.
Absence in my world,
Forgetting about the fight.
It was only yesterday
That you exited my life.
I knew for a fact
The absence of you would hurt.
So much pain.
If only I could apologize,
Live with you once again.
Instead of turning over once again
To see the absence on the other side of the bed.
