Why me?

If people were to speak of us,
You and I.
They wouldn't see similarities.
Only differences.
I listen to screamo,
you listen to indie.
You have lots of friends,
I have three.
I get average grades,
You're the smartest person I know.
When people talk about our love,
I wonder if they'll be as confused as I am,
We're two completely different people,
Two completely different sets of dreams.
All I want to know is,
Why me?
