My Grandpa
He was an amazing man
Who died at only 64 years of age
With his birthday being the next day
He died a peaceful death
With his loved ones by his side
The disease that killed him
Malignant mesothelioma
An aggressive lung cancer
After surgery and much chemotherapy
He went into remission for a while
Only to have his cancer return later
On his one good lung that remained
A grim prognosis
He knew that he didn’t have much time left
But he made the most of what time he did have left
He was like and second dad when I was growing up
I spend much of my time with him
I practically grew up in my grandma and grandpa’s house
Now only my grandma remand she sin
But she will be ok and things will get better as time goes on
She will never forget him in her heart
I will never forget the memories of him that are in my mind
I luv you grandpa…..
