Grasp
I miss the days when you once cared,
When I'd think of you and you were there,
When we'd each take love within our stride,
Without hesitation or lust or pride,
Within vain leaps,
Of hopes and dreams,
I watched this fall apart at the seams,
But until true love gives way to hate,
Entangled souls I will not abate,
For lying deep without our wake,
Is a place where we live without mistakes,
A place where we can start anew,
If one to another we stay true,
And so through moments, first to last,
We will find our days now passed.
