Mom and Dad
The only love at is sincere is your love
Mom and dad, you show me how to walk
And even taught me my first word
When I fell and scarp my knee you hug me tight and
Told me everything will be alright
Mom I remember when you walked me to school
You gave me a kiss on my cheek
And told me to be careful
And follow the rules
I fast forward when my dad taught me to drive
You gave me the key and we
Went for a ride
Mom and dad you taught me right from wrong,
and you shown me how to be strong,
you been here for me all through my life,
Helping me through all the pain and all the strife,
You forgive me so many times that I can't even believe,
you stood beside me and told me that someday I'd succeed
Thank you Mom for giving birth to me
Thank you Dad for making that birth possible
Thank you both for giving me the opportunity to live, to learn, and to love
