Converse Love
In the room the two friends conversed,
Since the rest of the people had dispersed
The papered walls faintly echoed
Words of affection to decode
All too suddenly the room began to spin,
And felt chimerical as it dawned on him
The sensation grew louder,
Her pulse pounded harder
Then the world became a blur,
As something important began to concur,
It seemed like forever and then no time at all
As the rubber heels rose three inches tall
A look at each other and they both knew,
Converse love had begun to brew.
