Strings Attached
My thoughts, gone
Emotions, none
Life, not a things to look for
I am only a robot that moves
That does not feel
I thought I loved
That I morned
That I could form a single thought of my own
But no, I have strings attached
I struggle to be free
But all in vain
I'm locked in this box
My cage
Only taken out when needed
And thrown back in without a second thought
I should care
I should fight back
Get out the next chance I get
But those strings hold tight
And I am unable to find a way to cut them
So there is no freedom from this forced fate
My feelings, emotions are sepreate from me
In a chained box
I'm not the one who holds the key
So you see, I'm not me
I'm a nobody
A thing to be played with as seen fit
A doll with no heart
No soul
No life of its own
In the empty cage
I'm lonely
