If I had a dime
For every time they fought
I would have enough money
To buy myself a small
Fast jet plane
To escape the never ending cassette
Getting played
And rewound
Divorce
Played
Rewound
Divorce
I’d run like a track star
Dieing to run the last mile
Sweating profusely
To the small
Colorful
Tight knit cities
Of Italy
Where families do exist
Unlike mine really
Behind me fighting
Would be racing to catch me
Telling me to come back
That everything’s okay
When really
I know everything not.
