Someday...
Little girl awakes,
As the morning sun's rays fill her room.
She jumps out of bed, skipping lightly towards the window.
She uses all of her little might to raise the glass,
That divides her from the pure bliss in a little girl's heart.
She thanks her Jesus for the wet, green grass.
The daisies and the roses.
And the one, two, three, and four tiny bugs,
That have quickly been named in no simple language.
She breathes in the morning air and flies away.
Someday, she will understand the meaning of it all
.................
Someday, she will wonder "why?"
Someday, it will all go wrong.
Someday, she will run and hide.
Someday, her heart will slowly break.
Someday, she will feel lost.
Someday, she will be torn and later pulled apart.
Someday, she will say to YOU: "it seems so easy to call You 'Savior' but not close enough to call You 'God'"
Someday, she will ask herself why she still tries.
Everyday will be different, but the same old song
................
Someday, she will fall to her knees and plead for forgiveness.
Someday, she will cry out and recieve an answer.
Someday, she wont be sitting in silence anymore.
Someday, tears wont fill her eyes, and she wont feel so alone.
Someday, she will be able to say 'i love you' once again.
Someday, gone, will be he lump in her heart.
Someday, she will push away the anger, and finally let go.
Someday, her heart will mend, and she will be healed of her past.
Someday, horrible memories will fade.
Someday, she will realize that she will never have to feel weak again.
Someday, she will stand up up tall, and be able to look back on it all.
Someday, she will understand the reasons for what He had to do.
Someday, she will know of the love that has always been there.
Someday, she will find him there to stay.
Someday, she will dance in the rain again, and sing like nobody is around.
Someday, she will be strong and find where she truly belongs.
Someday, she will shine bringht once again.
Someday, she will know the truth.
Someday, all her wrongs will be made right.
Someday, she will learn the true meaning of the word love: You.
Someday, she will fall in His arms and be saved from herself.
Someday, she will have hope again.
Someday, she will fall in line with God's master plan.
Everyday she will have the same joy she once had as a child.
Someday:
She will awake, like she did as a little girl.
As the morning sun's rays fill her room,
She jumps out of bed, skipping lightly towards the window.
Everyday she will understand the meaning of it all.
