In the Fall
Colorful leaves, stunning backdrop
Eerie symphony of emotion
Caressing breeze floats on, a gentle push
Time of change, transitions
People, time, and space
Friends, both old and new
Locked together through simple proximity
School’s back in, another year to endure
Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
Yet another rung on the ladder
A new beginning or perhaps an end
Freshman, it’s never as bad as it seems
Sophomore, at last you’re comfortable here
Junior, you’re almost there, just hang on
Senior, here you stand, you’re almost done – your future soon awaits
Winter comes quickly
Already a quarter way done
Grip on tightly to your destiny
The year will be passed before you know it

Very good. There's a lot of relatability in it. I liked the "at least you're comfortable here" part. It made me think of my sophomore year, since that was the first year in my life that I actually had friends and I really was just what you said-comfortable in my school. Sure, I didn't love my school, but I didn't wake up dreading the day there like I did freshman year.
In short, it's a great poem. I really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work!
