Out of control
with my emotions
my sorrows, fears, joys
all hanging on by a thread
copper metallic river
of sticky red
suffocating my emotions
if only for a while
until they resurface
one more cut to suffice
over and over, one cut at a time
soon it will be too late
now I am only a shadow
of my former self
hovering silently, unnoticed
see what they've all done?...
