Imperfect Perfect
Your pretty and your smart
Though you reveal your heart
Only to those that make you happy
Those people, your friends
See a unique girl
Since you don’t follow trends
Unless those stupid things you did, are considered trends?
Now it’s just your average teenage soap
Your a little insecure
Despite all your hope
You worry about friends on dope
You experiment and fail
Your not perfect
You once thought you looked like a whale
You’ve never been over 115 pounds
You thought scissors would be fun
To run
Across your skin
It left 2 marks and you decided to drop it
Cause you didn’t feel comfortable
Failing at being a failure
You think about dying a lot
Less now then before
You’re easily distraught
Overly emotional
The only people who know you are your best friends
They belong in your equation
That’s life
You struggle
You worry
You f*** your life up
But in the end
You’re that beautiful, confident, artist, who everyone looks at
And some hate
Others admire
You’re outspoken and funny
Wise occasionally
You’ve got an amazing figure
Love is your game for sure
The only guy you want
Is the one you can’t even hold
He’s far away but closer than so many before
If only he realized how poor
He sometimes acts about it
Cause he makes you insecure
Which can really hurt
You are an artist
One of those misunderstood girls,
Who’s always trying to find herself
Only as the saying goes
You need to forget about that, and create yourself
Cause that’s what your best at anyway
Your an imperfect perfect
Like so many around
You wish you were better, quieter
Only that’s just not your sound
Your fierce and your roar is loud
Once you let it out
