I believed you loved me.

You said that you loved me.
That you wanted me.
I gave myself to you,
And now I look in my full length mirror
Fresh tears streaming down my face
As over the weeks and months I watch my belly get bigger.
You wanted me.
You got me.
Now you throw me and your unborn child out like trash.
Now I'm all all alone.
Just me and the baby in my belly, Because I actually believed that someone could really truly love me.

The author's comments:
This poem is in memory of one of my sisters diary enteries around the time that she was pregnant at 14 years old. And if by any chance that she reads this one day I want her to know that I miss her and my niece Leelexis very much, and I would do every thing in my power to help her if she ever needed it. I love you Brittany!
