I am writing a poem for you
But I don’t know what to write
I sit and think all day and night
But still after all that time
Nothing at all comes to mind

I should be writing about our love
But I can’t think how
Our love goes beyond words or magical spells
So instead I write to you about me
Me and my inability to write about you

I’m going to sit and think
Maybe write some more
Maybe I will say the words I need
The words full of feelings and grace
So powerful and great
