Scrambled eggs
It's funny really,
us scrambling around,
like cooked eggs.
I always wonder what really lies beneath the skin,
why you have to lie, or cheat, or steal,
or why you have to be sad or even happy,
I just wish all these emotions would go away,
and yeah I do want you to stay
but This is to much to take,
maybe it isn't
maybe it's just me
so baby,
hold onto me,
and don't let go or take me for a fool,
I want all of you,
not for forever
but for right now,
and that is good enough for me
because you see,
I don't trust anybody,
not just you, I don't even trust me,
in the end everyone always does what they want,
even if you or me say something different,
there's always more that meets the eye, and I think
that's why people lie.
