I miss it
I miss the way everything used to be so easy
Life wasn’t complicated
I was young and I didn’t care
But I grew up
And life got harder
There are times I wish I could escape it all
But I remember
I remember the way you used to say
I love you,
You can do it,
I miss you
You taught me that I shouldn’t always take the easy way out
Life isn’t about the rough times
It’s about how you get through them
It’s about how you become a better person with each day
I still think every once in a while
Why things are the way they are
But I know, there’s no reason
That just life
I have made mistakes and I’ll make plenty more
But you made me realize that it’s okay to make mistakes
It doesn’t mean you’re a bad person
It means you’re human
There’s just no way I could have made it this far without you
I would be a completely different person
I wish you were still around to help me through everything
I miss the way you were always here to talk to
I know it’s not your fault-But still
I can’t help the way I feel
I feel like I lost something along the way
Lost a lot, gained a little
Life is an uncontrollable struggle
I wish things were like they used to be
I miss those days, with you
I miss it; I miss you
I miss us
