Walking, alone and forgotten
A single small toad
Hopping across the road
Not stopping to say hello
Hearing the repetitive crunch of the gravel under you’re feet
Not sure of where you’re heading
Not sure of where you’ll end up
Not sure of anything
Emotionally lost in a hurricane of thought

Running away from something you hate
