Suck out my spirit and bottle it up
Store it on the shelf with the rest
When you desire, pour me out into a cup
Watch me drift into what you feel is best
Or boil me in a steaming pot
And watch my colors as atoms rearrange
Be careful or my seeping spirit may rot
When nothing is left from all this change
Sip from your mug, drink up my soul
Lick up every last little drop
Taste my lifelessness as your tongue starts to roll
Feel the burn as my heart begins to pop
Wish you never changed me
Because now I'll never be on your shelf to see
