Broken Wings

I have
wings
wings that can
lift me
right off the ground
But they're broken
they don't work
and I can't fix them
but others can
with every word
of encouragement
my wings
slowly mend
back to the way
they were before
every time you say
"Wow that's amazing"
you donate one
band-aid
to my
broken wings
