I’ve asked various professors:
Who teach the meaning of life
To tell me what happiness is
They all shake their heads.
Filled with so much damn pride,
And give me a child’s smile.
As if I were trying to fool them
I’ve cursed and turned my back
On every learned man and woman
Because they think I’m an idiot,
Asking my questions….
But all I want is an answer.
All I wanted was a simple answer!
