Shattered
A glass, once perfect,
was enjoying its
view on the counter
next to another
glass which had a crack
on its base, sitting
upon an uneven counter.
It took only a bump,
the small catalyst,
for the cracked glass to
spilt into two and push
its partner off the counter
onto the floor. Now
half is still standing,
half has fallen down,
and what was once all
but perfect is now
shattered.
