Comfy Couches
Soft colors
invite
in to a world of
feathers, to old dusty couches
we go.
Dusty in the oh, I remember
this.
Comfortable, oh.
Floating around clocks
in a tired basement filled
with lots of people you knew.
Know, oh you know now.
you know how
that old sleepy hypnotic feeling
entrancing your body,
encircling your smile,
making it grow wider and wider
slipping farther and farther.
Into that old comfy couch,
worn out dusty soul.
Inviting you to delve deeper inside,
you’ll give it a try.
Eyes get taken over,
closed but still wide
open.
Finally you see, not your eyes.
Its so different in here.
Its so different out there than I thought.
