Foreign Language
I don't understand.
It's like a foreign language to me.
I'm so confused.
I don't know how to feel.
You say you love me,
But you're supposed to show not tell.
How can I believe,
If it's something I've never seen?
We never get the time to talk,
And you constantly apologize.
It makes me feel horrible,
Until it happens again.
I try to understand,
To sort out the words and awkward phrases.
I try to hold on tight,
Listen close and check my anger.
But still, the answers elude my mind,
Confuse me more,
Break my heart,
And fill me with despair.
