I am from laughs at the kitchen table,
where I eat my favorite food lasagna.
I am from goofing off with my cousins and always having a good time.
I am from vacations to Cape Cod,
where there is always a bowl of clam chowder waiting for me.
I am from summer days,
where the sun is bright and the weather is warm.
I am from cannon balls and
I am from splashing in the ocean head first.
I am from funny stories with my Pop,
that make me laugh so hard milk comes out of my nose.
I am from the “cut it outs” and
the good times spent with my brother.
I am from the cherished moments spent with my friends and family.

Where I’m from is a memory book of my life.
The good and the bad: and the old and the new
all make me who I am today.
As I look back on each one, I know that everything happens for a reason.
No regrets, no sadness- the happy moments and memories will last for a life time.
