A white rose
You can tell it’s not supposed to be white
But it’s bleached
Someone has washed away the beautiful, comforting, crimson color from it’s petals
I feel like I’m that white rose
You bleached me by breaking up with me
My beautiful colorful life is now blank
Bland
Boring

Did you mean to bleach my colors away
Did you really mean to take away the colors of my life
Did you honestly mean to take away all the meaning of my life

I don’t think you did
So I won’t blame you, as much as I want too
I understand why you broke up with me
Why you bleached me

So....
as much as I would love to hate you
I won’t

I still love you

I really liked the message. I love the metaphors and that you help us understand in a simple way. I loved the poem.

Live Life Like A Party That Never Ends

I love the meaning behind this poem! I think it's really cool how you took something as simple and unrelated as a white rose and turned it into something more and gave it meaning and significance. The only thing I would have liked better is if you didn't come right out and say what it represents and I caught that specifically in the line where you said "You bleached me by breaking up with me" I think it would have been nice to show instead of tell. Use symbolism and other techniques to give meaning to the poem and portray your message. Let the reader pick up on it and find it for themselves. By doing that, you will turn this good poem into a masterpiece. Keep Writing :)
