Brown leather and thick soles
Purple dripping
Engraving it's everlasting mark.
Mud and rain
Thick and thin they stay
Scratched and torn
More as my heart.

Sweet under her breath
The wind whispers
Its banjos play
That western tune
walking down
that rough dirt road
