Summer Baseball!

The thing I love about summer ball! The Starting chants the umpires call! The Windup, the swing, the kinect of the bat, the wind in my fast, as my cleated foot hits the dusty old base! The hi-fives and encouraging yells, As my ball catches wind and sails! The fans excited with suspense as my home run flies over the old fields chain-linked fence! The slap of hands after a game, small town heroes, summertime fame!
