Summer Memories
Shine your lights to me
From thousands of miles
So I can see
Your beautiful smiles
I miss you all so much
Every time I do something new
All the sunny days, having lunch
Together, it’s the simple things we do
That make the memories so good
Despite the fact I miss you
I hold you all in my heart
Cause every day I’ll wake up
You will be with me in my art
In my music, and my poems,
My thoughts and experiences
In my dreams and my hopes
So write me letters, and tell me things
Cause you’ve all become a part of me
All the memories summer brings
Will help me learn to see
Because of you guys
I’m stronger than I used to be
