The Broken Heart
I look at her but she doesn't look at me. We know one another but the love felt for her is not returned, for since I met her she's been not only in my mind but in my dreams. As I raise my courage to declare my love I see her and my tonguee becomes numb with the thought of telling her the truth. So all we are is friends for now it is too late, another man has taken her heart and in the process destroyed mine. So the only thing I can do is pick up the broken pieces and find another love to patch my shattered heart
