From freezing February,
To boiling September.
Nine guys on a team
Swing long rods of timber.
It's home runs galore
And hot dogs and more.
The crowds are shouting
When the umps are outing.
We all pick up a scream
And cheer for a team,
Because baseball begins at spring
And ends the month of Halloween.
