In the Shadow
Every Time I look into your eyes, all I see is darkness. Every Time I try to talk to you, you stare at me, causing my blood to freeze. I don't understand what made you this way, but I have a feeling it's because of me. I want to help, but I know that if I try, you'll run away, just like you did last time. When you walk past me, I see despair, sadness, anger, confusion, and frustration. The more you walk past me, the more the shadow consumes you. I want to pull you out of the darkness and into the light, but I'm afraid that if I try, I'll be consumed by the shadow, too. From now on, I won't try to help you, because if you want to be helped, you must ask. But until then, I'll just keep walking past you, and hop the shadow leaves.
