Invisible
This girl I see just can't be me,
she seems too broken and hurt by life.
Her scars are growing
and cuts getting deeper,
she's forgotten who she is.
Her true self is fading.
She's losing herself,
becoming the person she promised she'd never be.
She is caged by the limits and boundries she sets,
searching for an escape.
What she doesn't know is the key is her's,
for her true power is within her self.
I wanna scream to her!
Tell her to open her eyes to reality!
Why can't she get it right?
her imperfections, her flaws, the ugly places within,
Why can't they just let her be?
She's screaming out,
crying for love,
attention,
some sanity.
She feels so alone
unlovable,
worthless.
Does anyone see her tears?
Does anyone her screams?
Will anyone grasp her hand,
lead her way from this pain,
and let her know she is not alone?
Is anyone there?
Does anyone care?
Or is she simply invisible
